I have a junk load of trouble with the cheats too. especially if i'm being attacked and trying to kill people.
Try the cheat for lowering your wanted rating first, it is easy to learn AND YOU CAN DO IT WHILE RUNNING FROM THE LAW !
Punch somebody in the face in front of a cop to get a Star
Star running from the cop. Sprint a little at first if you have to Then with the left thumb hold up, to run, use your right hand to cheat The cheat is R,R,B,Blk,↑,↓,↑,↓,↑,↓ R=Right trigger B=B Button Blk=Black Button ↑&↓= left directional pad, (not joystick)
Sometimes while trying to do the ↑ you may hit left or right so i use my right hand for all the button,
The cheat doesn't have to be entered fast.

the weapons cheats don't work for me
but the cheats are bad they will lower your criminal rating i don't use them the game is easy without them

Whenever I put the cheats in. It nevers works! :confusedoes anyone how i can get it to work?
Maybe i press the wrong buttons??
