The ending theme, where it's just a woman humming (plays while you see Leo and Ada docking and such), not the same exact version of the song, but a slower, sweeter version of the song, more ghastly too (echo effects) is what the start menu (as you described) song is, just backwards. Very creepy, and ingenius. I couldn't tell the difference between it, and a language from the East.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but...
The song, which I think I is called 'DELAY', (the menu song), is not a crazy language, but...
I connect my ps2 to my computer via GeForce 2 MX A\V plugs. I can therefore use the soundrecorder program that comes with windows to record any sound streaming through my comp' from the ps2, etc. Well, for some reason I was messing around with the Delay song, and when playing it backwards, found out that it's simply the Ending song (basic ending song), just in slo mo. When played normally, it sounds like crazy egyptian music, but when played backwards, it's creepy slo mo japanese lady singing the ending song. Weeeeeeeeeeeird.
Wonder what else Konami will think of...
