People you all forget that the star forge has more than one ability it can't only build starships battledroids and fighters it has a tracker beam(planet shield) that disables the entire ship and leaves the ship to crash on the planet or drift in space I think the star forge could disable the death star before the comander could even file the order because I beleave the star forge could do this is because the starforge had done it before with entire fleets this is truly a ultimate dark side of the force contrapsion (remember that the force has a will of its own)

Even if the Star Forge were unable to replicate the Death Star, it would theoretically have the capacity to build the Executor-class and the Eclipse-class the latter of which does have a planet-shattering super-laser. It could also build from outside Star Wars producing a fleet of say Carriers or Battlecruisers from Starcraft or even the Seonaidh JND from Infinite Space, a ship that can also destroy a planet.

ok, the Star Forge vs. the Death Star is the biggest clash of the titans possible in Star Wars. no single Jedi, Sith, or whatever could compare to these two uber battle stations. so what happens?
the Death Star II, if it was completed, would definitely be immune to the Achilles' Heel cheat. the Empire is stupid, but not stupid enough to make the same mistake twice. if it ever got an opportunity, one Death Star blast would almost certainly at least destroy the Forge (though that might not be enough to guarantee a win)
the Star Forge...is the most evil grunt-spawn-factory ever. it feeds directly on the power of a sun, and the Dark Side, not any lame manufactured reactor. thats a lot of energy, to make a LOT of stuff. it might also be capable of learning/adaptation, if the battle went on long enough for that to matter.
in both cases, you want some competant captain/general/leader calling the shots. Star Forge can make a zillion zillion ships, reasonably quickly. assume its production power is equal to the number orcs you have to fight if Sauron's got the Ring and chooses to spam orcs with it.
without the Achilles' Heel though, would those ships matter? remember, the first Death Star was considered to be immune to a frontal assault. that's what the Star Forge DOES, though.

I think the result would be the first ever traffic jam in freakin space, because of all the ships that cant blow up the Death Star getting replaced faster than they can be blown up. the Death Star couldnt get a good shot. So its down to whose Boarding Parties get the Secret Mission done. for funsies, lets say that Darth Voldemort is driving the Forge, and Harry James Potter-Evans-Verres is driving the Death Star. Death Eaters vs. Chaos Legion. Staying in-universe leads to stalemate, so Im shaking things up because fun is awesome. Thats my final answer.

Notice how easily the Republic just flew in and destroyed one piece of the star forge and that was the end of it. On the other hand, a force adept could easily shoot the proton torpedo's into the 2 holes. But if the emperor was actually smart, then he would easily have avoided that threat. Plus: the death star can easily take out huge planets at one time with its weapon so why not huge fleets from the star forge?

Well ive seen multiple messeges on that 1 shot and its done but really think about it.
First in the forth and final movie a fleet of the rebels were enough to take out the death star yet at the star forge there are millions upon millions of ships of many kinds.
Second the death star can only move so fast so there would be plenty of warning
And last i dont copletly remember Straight but in kotOR the ebon hawk crashed because of some field that only Malaks (prieviusly revans) men are imune 2
So i say the forge would OWN

I say the star forge would win because the death star has that one spot to were it will blow up. Like the first Death star had the exhaust port. And the second death star wasn't complete and was destroyed from its internal powerplant.
