Of all that Alucard finds, which is your favorite? I like the Masamune and the Crissagrim.

I can not believe that only 5 POSTS so far and 14 PAGES have noted the Shield Rod. Not only can you use the Alucard Shield(Hits enemies for 255 HP whilst restoring 1 heart and 8 HP plus temporarily invincibility) combination, you can use it for others. You can use it with any shield, including the Alucart Shield, basically makes him have a "?" over his head. Pointless, but amusing to do. Not only that, but using it a lot with a lot of different shields will glitch the game and restore your MP to full if you are lucky.
But I have to say that Crissaegrim owns. Fist of Tulka is good for reaching 100+ DEF which is a stage where Alucard does not even flinch or revert when shapeshifting.
But my second favorite? I'd have to say the Mourneblade, as while combining it with Dark Metamorphisis spell and the Bloodstone(makes you restore 16 HP for shedding blood on self instead of 8) will, if the enemy sheds, recover 24 HP. It will only recover 8 HP otherwise.
And I would definitely say the Boomerang Cross for sub. It actually doesn't hurt a lot if just the white flash hits, but get in range of the actual crosses, add Heart Broach, Staturolite and Brilliant Mail and it becomes so powerful I killed the Guardians(I absolutely HATE them wait who doesn't?) in Black Marble Gallery after that and just about 1 hit from the Mourneblade.

The shield is nearly invicible? That doesn't really make sense to me. I'll agree that most other shields are crap. I think the Medusa shield does protect you from stone, but the DS has greater defense. Generally I would use the Alucard shield, but I like to use stuff that I have more than one of, and the DS is good and it looks frickin' sweet.
mainly the dark shield can fall of alucard hands like others for some reason the medusa shield does not has defence but a heavy ATK, and allows you to not only avoid stone but do a nasty glitch in certain areas to level up

not so convenient as the medusa shield for some reason the mdesua shiled is nearly invincible, but most of the other shields are crap

I prefer the Dark Shield over the Medusa Shield. DS is stronger.

ill chose that sword that klends you shoot currents of air, and the medusa shield, just touching you enemies with that thingk and they will get damage, instead all the other shields, ucks, they even cant protect you from an Axeknigth/Lord attack.

We ARE talking about a videogame here, right? I'm generally not one to criticize one's lack of spelling aptitude because it really doesn't seem to matter all that much to me when it comes to SotN. I mean, I love the game... I really do, but seriously, who the hell cares if this guy can't spell for sh**. I can't do alot of things but that doesn't mean I have no right to get excited over a great game and enthusiastically talk about it, right? Cut the kid some slack!
Referring to the little bout some of you were having with a certain Morning Dreamer. Oh, and Morning Dreamer... the Crissegrim is like using a freakin' atom bomb to exterminate a house full of termites... lol
I have a challenge for you: try beating the game using only your fists, summon spirit, and tetra-spirit. If you're gonna play, *bleep*in' PLAY! lol

You might say I'm strange, but my favourite weapon is the chakram!!!!
It's stats are not too great, but still they do some decent damage. But the thing is:
1. It's one-handed 2. It's a long range weapon 3. You can throw two of them with ONE chakram equipped 4. You can get it after only one hour playtime
That basically makes 8 hits at once if you have two chakrams equipped, because you can throw 4 of them and they will most likely cause damage again when they return to you.
Also you get it damn early from the discus lord in the catacombs. I always go there as fast as I can. And it's not that rare, so you'll need only around 10 minutes to get it.
Only the Crissaegrim is better than the chakram, but I don't like it much because the game gets too easy,....well, not that it's hard to begin with.
