The micro-transactions aren't even that bad, it's just to spend real money to speed up the SP being replenished and seeing as I didn't use it let alone knew it existed whilst playing on hard mode in the demo it's safe to say it's not horrible and doesn't affect ones ability to beat the game.

So...microtransactions and a sequel before the first game is even released?
This industry has really become something that I detest...
Calm yourself, the game's been out in Japan for over a year, and starting work on a sequel before the game is out in the West isn't anything new. The industry does that all the time, most of them just don't announce it until they have something substantial to show. In this case they're just letting us know it exists, which will sway potential sales for the first game now that people know buying it quickly instead of waiting could help the sequel get localized.

Game is released tomorrow for the UK and I am so excited for it! I'm too poor because Christmas to get the collectors edition (which is a shame since the Agnes figurine is freakin' awesome) but alas, no doubt I will have tons of fun playing the game regardless. Stoked to hear we have official confirmation of the sequel and only hope the first game sells well enough tomorrow for it to makes its way west-ward.

I've pre-ordered and should be getting it in a couple of days. It's one of the main reasons I bought a 3ds. Glad to know that the western version will be based on the "For The Sequel" version so I won't be missing out on anything.
