What happens when you stuff dozens of characters from Capcom, Sega and NamcoBandai into a grid-base tactical RPG? Project X Zone happens, and it shouldn't surprise you to find out that it's quite a bit ridiculous. Case in point the game's launch trailer, just released this morning -- fitting, considering the game was also released this morning on the 3DS. If it feels like characters are just being thrown at the screen while you watch, you're right.
Project X Zone is a follow-up to Namco x Capcom from 2005, though that game never made it overseas. It should be nice to hear then that knowing anything about the prior game matters very little. Do you know a couple of characters in the game? Do you know them real well? Well, then you'll enjoy at least a part of this game, because it gets very nerdy up in there.0
Pick up Project X Zone right now as it's just been released exclusively on the 3DS and look forward to our review just as soon as I finish the game.
