Ah ok thanks for the reply.

To be quite honest I did very little research on the sound card as you can see!

The video card requires PCIe 2.0 x16, which your motherboard has.

Some advice:

1. You don't need an NH-D14 to cool a stock CPU. Stick with a stock cooler or go with something like a hyper 212+.

2. The Audigy SE is a pretty old card by now. Either stick with onboard audio, or go with something like the ASUS Xonar series.

3. An 850W power supply is a bit overkill. I'd recommend something like a Corsair TX650W instead. Should be more than enough.

4. The motherboard is completely fine. One of the best Z77 boards, especially for the price.

Does the video card work well with the mobo? It says it requires 2x16 but the mobo has 1x16 slots. I know they work, but will that lose efficency because it's not also 2x16?

I need that specific graphics card and have decided on that i7 for what I need. Thinking of changing the mobo now.
