saw this at PAX East last year.. been wondering whatever happened to it.. it looked really good and a lot of people were up playing it the whole time

Why can't MOBA's use the unlocking system of Awesomenauts? Where you can level up and unlock characters as you go, and purchasing a costume auto-unlocks the character?

The Dragon looks awesome, but I'm not dropping cash just to play as one god.
