You won't need an extra HDMI slot, unless you need more than 1?

Why would you need another SATA cable? SATA cables come with the motherboard

Crusad3r he wasn't talking about the GPU but the PSU and cooler.
I agree with him on the PSU part though, I don't think you should ever go for lesser options there, same as with your CPU, those two are the heart of any PC.

Smok3Dogg I don't see the point of him having it if he's only going to be playing WoW and LoL. Those games don't even require a graphics card to play at max graphics settings. Tried and tested with an i5 3330 with 8gb of ram.

The hyper 212 runs circles around stock cooler. Do you know what you are talking about?

As for case it is personal choice. And never skimp on a PSU. It is heart of your build.

No need to downgrade at all. 8gb of ram these days is extremely cheap. Only 40-50 bucks. It'll still be cheaper than getting that mobo with the free ram

No idea why people would recommend you to stay away from Win8. It's not much different from Win7 except for a new UI
