so does the software automatically save settings when applied, or does it have to be saved manually? if the latter, no problem. if the former, and something goes wrong, should be possible to fix in safe mode.

Yes, I agree. Only thing is, I can't change the actual command rate through my BIOS. I didn't know if this RAM could even handle 1T Command Rate, so I still haven't tried it, lol.

umm...why not just change it in the BIOS? you mess up, you reset CMOS. you should know this, though, so unless im missing something here...

Has anyone ever used SPDTool to change their command rate for their RAM? My OCZ Platinum Rev2 has a 2T command rate. I don't want to try 1T and never be able to boot my computer up again, I'm not really familiar with how the program works. Just looking to see if anyone else has any experience with this program. I'm looking into it a little more right now.
