Hey eveybody,

I recently picked up a nice looking set of Boston Digital BA735 speakers. This model has only a digital input on the subwoofer, no analog. I would like to convert them to analog and have heard that the boards in the subwoofer are the same. I looked in mine and it is capable of handling an analog signal. However, it is missing a few of the coponents that are only required for analog operation. Capacitors 25 and 38 and resistors 10 and 16 are missing (were never installed). These are surface mount components. If anyone knows the values of these components or knows of where I could find a schematic I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What about C201D, it is also missing from the board with out the analog input. Is it on the board with analog input? If so could let us know what value it is?

Thanks for your help.

Bob,

Thanks for the helpful information. I used parts I had on hand which were the capacitors you specified but I used 10K resistors instead. I also used an RCA jack off of an old TV. I cut a hole for it in the back of the subwoofer enclosure. I still need to seal up around it with a little caulk to keep the tight enclosure. Everything seems to work good, its just a little more sensitive to the input level than the factory set. I do seem to get some humming that gets louder as I turn the volume up on the speakers even with all of the sources connected. Is there any fix for this?
