Capcom today announced the three new Resident Evil 6 modes slated for release, all due for Xbox 360 before PC and PS3. Those modes have been named Onslaught, Predator, and Survivors.
As you can guess, these modes are geared more toward co-op and multiplayer rather than solo players out there. Separately, the modes will go for 320 Microsoft Points ($4) each, but the three-in-one bundle is a much more worthwhile investment, at 720 MP (or $9). Then again, if you're just not that interested in having all three, better to just go with the former buying option.
Anyway, here's a little bit about each mode, complete with actual trailers to give us an idea of what players are getting into. Screenshots can be found after the break.
Available for two to six players, in Predator one player takes on the role of the Ustanak, the fearsome B.O.W. that stalks Jake Muller throughout his campaign, and tries to eliminate the human players. The humans’ task: stop the deadly B.O.W. in its tracks, or at least survive until the end of the session.
Survivors takes the classic solo and team-based versus mode and adds a twist. Get killed and respawn as an enemy character with the ability to attack the human characters. Take down one human character to resurrect in human form. Last man or team standing wins. Survivors can be played by two to six players.
Onslaught sees two players go head-to-head in an attempt to clear waves of oncoming enemies. Chaining combos provides the key to success in Onslaught as this will send enemies over to the opponent’s screen, the more that are sent over, the quicker the victory will be.

I LIKE THESE. Especially the Onslaught and Survivor modes. Lots of competitive entertainment to be had there. Just would like it on my PC now though...WITH THE SPLITSCREEN -_-

CRAPCOM strikes again! Is it me or are they really losing touch with consumers in the latter end of this generation?

Predator looks like great fun, but there should be normal enemies running around too. I'm guessing Ustanak will control really awkwardly too (judging by Agent Hunt controls), so the Ustanak player is probably going to easily get gangraped by 5 players who know what they're doing (it's pretty easy dodging him).
Survivors looks to be the best, but again, enemies should be running around to add that extra bit of tension, like how survivors was in RE5 versus. Melee is going to be interesting in this mode.
Onslaught looks meh. They didn't explain it that well, but it seems ok i guess.

wat about ps3?!

Like I care. 360 will get it first, but this is not the type of modes that I kind of hoped. Alright, I was harsh with my first sentence. I don't care sounds more better.
Come on Capcom, I'm not paying for DLCs that are not even going to be worth it! I would prefer the Mercenaires with 4 to 6 players rather than Onslaught.
Oh and by the way, those videos that you wanted up don't work.

These all feel like slightly altered mercenaries modes and don't actually play any different really. Kinda bland. I wanted something more Capcom ://
I want more DLC like Lost in Nightmares not this!

Interested in predator mode, although I hope it isn't just a big target in a room full of people just shooting at you the whole time. Hope you actually get to move to areas or something.
