quote Andy Chalk, The Escapist
Koguryo (also Goguryeo or Kokuryo) was an ancient Korean kingdom that spanned the northern and central Korean Peninsula, as well as parts of China and Russia, until its fall in 668 CE. It was founded, according to the Korean Central News Agency of DPRK, in 277 BC by King Tongmyong. And it turns out that King Tongmyong was a serious, certifiable badass - because King Tongmyong rode a unicorn.

Archaeologists from the History Institute of the DPRK Academy of Social Sciences have "reconfirmed" the discovery of a lair of the unicorn ridden by the ancient king, which is located 200 meters from the Yongmyong Temple in Moran Hill, Pyongyang City. They know it's a unicorn lair because a rectangular rock with the words "Unicorn Lair" carved into it stands out front. The scientists believe the words date back to the Koryo Kingdom, which existed from 918 to 1392 CE.

"Korea's history books deal with the unicorn, considered to be ridden by King Tongmyong, and its lair," History Institute Director Jo Hui Sung said in a statement. "The Sogyong (Pyongyang) chapter of the old book Koryo History, said, 'Ulmil Pavilion is on the top of Mt. Kumsu, with Yongmyong Temple, one of Pyongyang's eight scenic spots, beneath it. The temple served as a relief palace for King Tongmyong, in which there is the lair of his unicorn.' The old book Sinjungdonggukyojisungnam (Revised Handbook of Korean Geography) complied in the 16th century wrote that there is a lair west of Pubyok Pavilion in Mt. Kumsu."

The discovery of the lair, he added, "proves that [North Korean capital] Pyongyang was a capital city of Ancient Korea as well as Koguryo Kingdom." That, of course, is the point: demonstrating some ancient, handed-down-from-the-gods claim of legitimacy on the Korean "kingdom." And you know what? That's good enough for me. I love science!

So apparently old Korean dudes used to ride into battle as a manly manlike man should ride into battle. On a unicorn. Which apparently did exist at some point, according to North Korea.

Thoughts?

There are only 2 languages in this world. Proper English (murica!) and whatever the hell those god awful people in the UK speak. Some wannabe trash English apple invented to sell more phones.
So proper english originated from awful english?
Didn't you play AC3 or something? The entire reason Abe Lincoln Sr. (the real Abe lincoln before he was replaced by Jr. to abolish slavery that way black people can make peanut butter) went to Murica (the greatest country of all time of ever in existence) was to break away from the British and their horrible language and awful choice in color (red, lol that's sooooo 1438) .

Duh.

Also something about freeing assassins and some shit.

Is this legit, because I'm gonna be all types of mad if not.

Man if there is such a thing as a unicorn, then that gives me hope for Dragons.

Now, please confirm that generals of Japan rode Dragons.

Finally, does the square sign have "Unicorn Lair" written in a modern version of a language, because that would be a little suspicious.
It's obviously in English. What other way would the Unicorn's be able to tell them that that's their cave? Not like anyone can read/speak North Korean anyway.

Alright Ditnopota, that is the catchiest thread title I've ever read. There is no way to see the words North Korea Confirmed For Unicorns and not click the link.

And it is also random as crap and seems like something a person would post because there's no one to stop them *cough* Existence *cough*.

Also, this totally sounds real and unicorns exist. Two horses with forehead growths get it on because no one else wants to date a freak horse and bam, unicorn baby. And of course unicorns can fly due to their horn which pierces the air and creates a thin vacuum that pulls the unicorn in to fill the empty space, that's just logic.

Finally, does the square sign have "Unicorn Lair" written in a modern version of a language, because that would be a little suspicious.

If it had the words Unicorn Lair out front how didn't you discover it before? Such bullshit.

Are you doubting the (new) glorious leader of North Korea and his scientist's discoveries of mystical horn-horse beast things?
Well considering I'm running for President there... Yes I would doubt anything the other canidate says because he's a moron.
