Can anyone tell me how or if there is even a way to save this game, so that I can play it from where i leave off. I would appreaciate any help

Yeah Jemma, you're probably right because mine is also the updated version of the game that came as part of the 'Monkey Island Bounty Pack'.

For me it's F5 too. Maybe it depends whether you got the original or the updated version. Mine's the updated version.
