quote SerebiiThe first image sof CoroCoro has been revealed, showing more details of the upcoming game Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth. These images showcase various new features of the game
In it, it lists Lugia and Ho-Oh as being major Pokémon within the narrative, along with Kyurem. The main hub area in the game is known as the Pokémon Paradise and features a variety of new Pokémon who provide many amenities and items. A new feature in the town is V-Roulette, run by Victini, which will get you higher ranked moves. With Pansage, you have the ability to grow various berries to aid you on your quest. Quagsire is used to check upon the status of the Pokémon you have befriended, and set you to have them join you in the next dungeon. Beartic provides you with a small mini-game to play where you need to shoot discs across some ice to get it in a hole.
quote KubrickWell they've shown Kyurem in like all the trailers so far as being the huge main boss soo...xD
Chaos Team, while I agree that it may bring back older fans, I still think they should've kept it with the Gen 5 legendaries. First PMD had Rayquaza, second PMD had Dialga, it'd be only natural that the next PMD would be the dragon trio. And for those older fnas, they could've had the post story, like the Darkrai thing, but maybe with another Gen. I just don't like how they did older gen legendaries.
However, if they did do older generation Pokémon, they'd have a good reason for it, so I'd like to know. xD
quote KubrickWell I think they needed a way to get like...older gen players excited for the game. xD Since y'know, they have a really limited option on who the starter can be and all. And I think a lot of the new legends are ...not really well-liked by older players, I guess. I really like them, honestly, but I don't really like the idea of having nothing but 5th gen legends in the game. Or nothing but 5th gen Pokemon in general. So far, that's all I've really seen besides Pikachu, mostly all 5th gen Pokemon. And while I like a lot of the 5th gen Pokes, and while it's good to have 5th gen exposure on PMD on the 3ds, I think a key component to PMD is how much variety there is!
Don't get me wrong, I love seeing Ho-Oh and Lugia, but I'm so disappointed. There's a wide range of Generation 5 Legendaries that they could've chosen, but they chose a Gen 2 Legendary? I don't think that's cool.
I'm still psyched for the game, but it's sorta meh, now :\
