Assassins are probably fairly choosy about their weapons of choice, but in Assassin's Creed III, Connor is proving to be a man of many talents. We've already seen the guy throw around hatchets and fire arrows with deadly accuracy, but he's also capable with a musket and those trademark double hidden blades. Yeah, can't forget those hidden blades.
In the new "Weapons" trailer, the Brits go over several reasons why this Assassin is so feared. In a nutshell, he kills people a lot of different ways, and if he's got his sights set on you, you're royally screwed.
Assassin's Creed III will be out October 30. Of course the trailer would also like to remind us that pre-ordering from GameStop will snag us extra gameplay content. In typical Assassin's Creed tradition, however, this stuff will likely be made available later as paid content.

I'm hoping that you don't always detach the hidden blades. I love the way you fight with them in Revelations.

It packs a pretty good punch, especially if you ram the front end through a poor unsuspecting templar.

"Capable with a musket" isn't that a little contradictory? Muskets are horribly inaccurate, which is the whole reason so many soldiers lined up to fire. If they didn't, they wouldn't hit a thing. Guns were not very accurate from the start, they actually had to invent that technology, and as far as I know, it wasn't around yet during the independence war.

The flow of combat looks awesome, not an ounce of action will be missed. It's keeping me even more pumped for the game.
