Okay, since I decided to keep Genesect, who should be on my team? I currently have Snivy, Genesect, Lillipup, and Riolu.

quote Kanon
Starmie or Jellicent if you want to wait most of the game for a great counter to that Fire Fighting issue.

Although considering you've already got 4 members before the first gym, I doubt that.

quote Kyle-Pokemon-Master
id say add an onix, you cant go wrong with onix.
Considering it has a lower attack stat than say, Spearow, I'd say you've already gone gravely wrong just picking an Onix.

So should I get a Jellicent or Starmie or not.

I have a keldeo, should I use him? I didn't want to since it levels up slowly.

Psyduck gets both water (obviously) and psychic attacks which would work well, or theres Ducklet which is the most obvious choice being a water/flying type. Any combination of water, flying, ground, or psychic would offset your team's weakness as long as you watch out for dual types like Excadrill that'll just make things worse.

    Grass
    Bug/Steel
    Normal
    Fighting/Steel

Wow, you need a Fighting/Fire counter Pokemon stat. May I recommend Sigilyph?

Then use a Water type. Try a Water/Ground like Tympole's evolutions.
