The guidelines below applies to any card type, but importantly to Ace cards:
Can't show Ace Card screen capture
Will show a screenshot but will do it only privately - The reason behind his is that the image might be taken from other legit trader here or previous posts where other people can verify that it is a stolen/fake screen capture. According to lavelazquez94 people can google an Ace Card and show it privately claiming to be the one he is holding, so make sure you "counter google search" similar Card and check "images" results.
Unwillingness to use middleman - Although this isn't absolutely true, this is highly probable specially with a new account based on numerous report in this site.
Fail to consider these list would result in 90-100% fraud transaction. You deserve the right Card and Fair transaction.

The Japan Version has changed the trade system, u we can check the card in trade screen.
It would be nice if square Enix would revise their trading system. It is clearly flawed which is not a good thing in a trading card game.
I suspect they are aware of this already, but the process to implement this may take longer to than it looks like.

Check profile of user. If number of logins is low and account created recently then be suspicious. If you ask for middleman and says no, and if you ask who is the user that bought last ace, and no answer be suspicious. If names are similar or just difference in number/letter probably multi-account. Ask for friendship in game, fight with him and check cards, check its number of battles in coliseum, higher the better. Usually nice players trade you ace for 5 SS and then let you gift extra 5SS. Avoid scum, cheaters, and bad people. Keep dealing with honest ones, and dont mind paying extra 5SS to the trustfull ones. OM
