I felt like they would have done better if they picked Malphite (or someone with good initiation) instead of Darius. Even if Malphite fell behind, TSM could at least initiate with Malphite's ultimate, but they didn't, so they just got poked all day with no real answer to it.

Yeah I don't really see Darius as a good counterpick to Jayce. Darius needs to be able to hook in his opponent and keep them there, Jayce has a low CD knockback he can use to flee, and far more range than he would ever need in order to not be caught.
Totally deserved, I really want to see Azubu fight Najin still to see who's the better top, Shy or Maknoon. Those two players have really been the dominant forces in top lane this tournament.
^that. I like tsm as a team (although I find them a bit overrated), but I was really hoping to see that match up. Unfortunately Sword lost and we won't be able to see that.

I remember when Dyrus made a vlog and said how Westrice counter picked himself by going Darius against Jayce, and then now you see Dyrus picking Darius against Jayce. lol.
It seems TSM could've done better. Blitz didn't really make any game-changing plays, Chaox was out of position in a lot of fights, Dyrus not controlling his lane (the big reason why they lost IMO, Shy was clearly the MVP of their team and they couldn't control him), prioritizing the wrong objectives, .etc .etc.
At the same time, Azubu Frost played incredibly well. That tower push when TSM were getting baron was fantastic and really knew how to minimize advantages from the enemy team.

I'm kind of speechless. I can't tell if Azubu is really just that good, or TSM came into this tournament half-heartedly. They looked bad out there. Slow on reactions, poor team play, hell, they even lost in straight farm.
As a big time League player I can understand being intimidated... but they weren't even warding adequately. Chaox, Dyrus and Regi has numerous deaths due to over extension when the opposing team was clearly roaming... just really sloppy. Very disappointing.

Too bad Najin lost. I was really looking forward to more wreckage by Maknoon.
