The Pretty Scary Update is almost upon us, with just two weeks until our target release date (October 24th). Here is this weeks changelog:
Added a new Anvil block for repairing, merging & naming items
Added an option for cape-owners to hide their capes ingame
Effects given by the Beacon will be less intrusive on the screen
Level-up sound now only plays every 5 levels
More bugfixes & tweaks!

Fixed anvils repairing themselves when falling
Fixed a few crashes in multiplayer when renaming items

It can get quite annoying, which is why it's being changed.quote updateIsn't this already a thing?Wooden logs will be rotated according to what side of the block they are place on.
Place it on the side of a block to get a sideways log.
Place it on the top/bottom of a block to get a topside log.
Corner stairs, item frames, beacons, flower pots, pumpkin pie, coloured armour... The sheer amount of content in this update will be great. I'm somewhat disappointed that both promises made for 1.4 since before even 12w32a came out (the mod API and the new lighting engine) have been pushed back, but with or without those features I'm going to enjoy 1.4.Powered by neoforums v1.6.5b (aperture)
