We've suffered no shortage of Assassin's Creed III trailers, but the latest one actually does finally give us proper insight into Connor's background -- his roots, his journey to Assassinhood.
It's already been established that Connor never intended to really become an Assassin, but he was pulled into the life through some... rather unpleasant circumstances. You know how it goes with these hero-types and tragic happenings. In Connor's case, he lost his home and just about everything he knew growing up.
Appropriately enough, the new trailer is named "An Assassin's Journey," as we get a glimpse of how Connor goes from that frightened child to a skilled killer of Templars.
nnnddd101010 i agree ezios voice was sexy and badass, but i think the new voice fits well, the flat tone is perfect for a native american to speak english

Why can't he have a sexy Italian accent like Ezio?

Yeah I suppose I can forgive him if I tell myself that his flat tone is what all ESL Native Americans sound like when speaking English

LZ Schneider I know what you mean, though I did come to like his voice after a few listens. Definitely sounds a tad flat, though.

I hate to bitch about voice acting pre-release but Connor's voice is uh... gross. His voice is gross (boring, actually). Judging from the dialogue, though, it seems like Connor and other characters will also question just how ethical and morally sound it is for Connor to help the colonists along with the gamer himself. I like this, Ubisoft. Well done.
