The "improved" colors look like they were slapped together at the last second by someone who didn't know what they were doing. The blue grading ties everything together, and gives the game a very distinct look. It's artistically good, not just technologically impressive. Why you'd want to take away the things that make the game look good is beyond me.

Not sure why people are complaining either. The only places that look overly colorful are usually tropical islands.....not frickin' war zones! LOL I definitely don't like the way they bitch at Dice like they own them. Sure Dice has issues at times, but to act like they're our slaves is f'in ridiculous. People need to get a grip and realize they're getting a huge return on their investment in the game....much more than some of the shit shovelware they play.

KR_1250 - until you suddenly get Dayglo pattern camo exploits. That's where texture modification gets murky.
Having said that, I still prefer the Original. The Colour Mod looks like it got painted in pre-school Poster Paints.

Bans? I could see it being a problem if players make color sets that make enemies pop out, but it'd be nice to be able to take off the dirt filter.

Yup. Or you can attempt to make the colours more realistic.
But, I think it's mostly good in the first place. Just a ouple things that I think needs tweaking.

So what would this do exactly? Would you be able to make enemies neon orange/blue/green, while making the ground grey?
