If you bought Resident Evil 6 via PlayStation Network like a good forward thinking citizen, you've probably noticed the distinct issue of not being able to play your game. The issue is caused by the day one patch, which prevents the title from loading, though this only applies to the PSN version, and not disc versions or any other version.
Capcom is of course working on a "imminent" fix, but if you don't want to wait around, they say you can uninstall the game (only if you've encountered the error), then reinstall, at which point you won't be prompted for the patch anymore and can load normally. Unfortunately, this locks you out of stat tracking and rewards via RE.net, and you won't be able to play online with anyone who has the disc version of the game, so it could be best to just wait.
That's pretty bad. What did the patch do anyway? Just RE.net stuff?
I don't really know, nor care. At least I didn't get this

They would fix it soon I think but still pretty horrible to just delete 10 Gigs and then download and re-install it and play offline. Better to wait for a fix.
BTW, do I need to stay online even while playing solo to earn 'rewards' from RE.Net? What kind of rewards are there? Staying online while playing this would suck because I get lots of invites from lots of people on my list for different type of games. That'd be a big distraction....

Their marketing should really look into that option. They shouldn't have to pay full price for something already included. You should email them that Ded Valve.
