I still am strongly against banning ANY form of media in a democratic country, so this is a step in the right direction.

It might be prudent to note that although the legislation has successfully passed through parliament, each state/territory will still have to pass their own complementary legislation. I honestly can't foresee any particular premier being a wang and not allowing the act in their representative state though.
