    Threadspiration

So, what are your favourite videogame franchises? :3

Mine are the more common ones. Big Pokemon, Zelda, Rhythm Heaven and Animal Crossing fan. I've recently also got into the Fire Emblem and Kirby series. I'm also partial to a bit of Mario and Donkey Kong. I'm also going to count Okami as a franchise because there's two games.

I can't wait either. it's the only reason i'm saving up for a 3ds.

Hopefully IS can redeem themselves with this after the shipwreck known as shadow dragon.

It's best to start with the first one, but, if you can't get it, Dark Dawn does a pretty good job of getting you up to speed on the story. The Lost Age should be played after the first one.

Depends actually, if you have GBA, DS Phat, or DS Lite then you can play Golden Sun, that one is the first Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, because both of it is a GBA game.
If you have DSi or above, you can try Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. The story in all of that 3 games is connected thou.
I suggest you play Dark Dawn thou its better lol
Thanks guys. I'll look into finding them, i think my local Gamestop had one last time i was there. I hate buying from them, but i don't have many other options, so...
hahaha, good luck mate

seeing your signature with fire emblem, reminds me with the upcoming fire emblem in 3DS cant wait for it

The .hack GU series is awesome been meaning to try the original dot hack games, but they are pretty hard to come by. I freakin love the Megaman battle network and starforce games too.

probably the Ratchet & Clank series. I was borderline obsessed with the first game growing up (though it hasn't aged well thanks to the later games basically improving on it significantly), plus Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal and A Crack In Time are *bleep*ing great games.

I'd commend it for its consistently but All 4 One was p *bleep*in mediocre.
I was skimming through the posts on this thread and was really disappointed that I wasn't seeing Ratchet and Clank anywhere but your post made things a little bit better.

SILENT HILL

Closely followed by Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto, Jak & Daxter, Mario, Metal Gear, Ratchet & Clank, Rayman, Resident Evil (except 5, that game sucked) and Tekken (except 6).
Any better?

Golden Sun (yall should try this awesome game),
I really want to try golden sun. I've been looking for a copy of one of the games. Are there any specific titles in the series you think i should get first? or, a better question, any to avoid?

My top 3 is certainly Pokemon, Final Fantasy and Ratchet & Clank (Up your Arsenal was the best), not sure what order. Megaman, Kirby and Smash Brothers are all high up there as well. The only new thing I can add to this is Persona, since I don't remember seeing it before. Fantastic series.
