probably the Ratchet & Clank series. I was borderline obsessed with the first game growing up (though it hasn't aged well thanks to the later games basically improving on it significantly), plus Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal and A Crack In Time are *bleep*ing great games.

I was skimming through the posts on this thread and was really disappointed that I wasn't seeing Ratchet and Clank anywhere but your post made things a little bit better.

My top 3 is certainly Pokemon, Final Fantasy and Ratchet & Clank (Up your Arsenal was the best), not sure what order. Megaman, Kirby and Smash Brothers are all high up there as well. The only new thing I can add to this is Persona, since I don't remember seeing it before. Fantastic series.
