- Post your updates here. This thread is not for them.
- Our aim is to make posting here an enjoyable and pleasant experience for all users and the standard of posts in this forum is something that we are looking to address, particularly in the Career Mode Discussion threads.
- One sentence replies that add no discussion value to the thread are not something that we are looking to see. Posts that are well structured and easy on the eye are what we are trying to attain.
- Constructive criticism of updates is very welcome however blatant abuse is breaking the rules and will not be tolerated.
- This thread is an overview of what we are aiming to achieve in terms of post quality. All member's are advised to look at this thread before posting so that you know how to maintain a respectable posting standard in this forum.
Now that quite a few of us have got the season ticket (I got it an hour ago). We can now start discussing our Career Modes. I know lloyd and standrfc have it downloaded now.
I have started as Newcastle and I have brought in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for 8.5m (bargain!), Grant Holt for 2m, Theirry Henry for 3m and I am in the process of buying Kurt Zouma. Won all my friendlys, beat Monchengladbach 5-1, Genoa 3-0 and Real Sociadad 1-0. Now have Tottenham. This is a massive improvement on Fifa 12's career mode aswell, a massive improvement indeed...

Just lost Doumbia on transfer deadline day, Madrid offered £20m and I negotiated and asked for £38m expecting them to reject it, but they matched the deal. I then signed Aguero to replace him for £33m. I also sold M'Biwa for £20m and signed Sakho (£7.5m) and Sokratis (£8.6m). Also rather than spending £20m on Vidal, I signed Muniain and Fer for a combined total of around £18m.

Just sold Papiss Cisse £20m, and bought Lewandowski for £24m. Also sold Fabio for £8m and Moutinho for £22m making a combined profit of £10m on those transfers in a year, trying to bring Vidal from Juventus in now.

First of all, I would like to say thanks for the warm welcome to Neoseeker. I know it's going to be quite fun here. I'm also reading a lot of these updates and every one of them are great. Please keep going with them the more I read the more I can observe them and make mine better in the future. Also could you go onto the updates page and give me some suggestions for my Accrington Stanley career mode signings?

Obviously with the way this season has gone in real life that team is extremely unrealistic, I signed Neymar in the first transfer window for £15m + Tiote (lol) and sold him on in January to Barcelona for £55m so most of the funds came from that sale. I've just sold Krul for £15m and signed Begovic for £4m which i thought was a good bit of business, and swapped Cabaye for Moutinho. I finished 4th in the league in the first season but didn't do well in any of the cups, (I lost to Man Utd in the FA cup, City in the league cup and lost to Benfica over two legs in the Europa league.
