I recently started breeding my Snivy with a Japanese Ditto and I am wondering how many eggs did it take you to hatch your first shiny?

Thread Recap (last 10 posts from newest to oldest)

Less than 60 eggs for my eevee, seems to be easier to breed pokemon from older generations than it is to breed ones from gen 5.

I'm well over 300 roggenrolas

Got two and a half boxes full of eggs when I was trying for a shiny Charmander, ended up just trading for one

I got mine whilst breeding Eevee to get the all of the stages. It was like my 5th one. But he's now a Vaporeon.

It took me 9 eggs for a shiny staryu on first time ever using Masuda method.

I wrote a breeding thing on here, and I have never bred a shiny Pokemon. :c
I've breed like 1k eggs too, the chances are like 1:1306 or something when you have the different language Pokemon.
Then again, my results are normal.
I think I was trying for a shiny Torchic.

I got lucky, only in the 50s or so.

Probably more than 500 in the times when I was a hardcore breeder for egg-moves.
