Yeah Hardcore mode and nightmare mod are different. NIghtmare still has 2 more modes after that hell and inferno. Good luck beating this great game share with us how the storyline went

nightmare mode you can die all you want, same with hell and inferno. The only way of losing all your shit when dieing is if you agree to make a hardcore character.

Hey all,
I have just finished Diablo III (Well beaten Diablo) and I now have the option to go into 'Nightmare' mode. Yeah, yeah. I know Blizzard in force that there is NO WAY of getting your character back if you die and all that. But there has to be a way to get it back... Right?
