I'm tired of doing FOD2 and failing, so I decided I won't do anymore lux weapon. So, my question is if I can do any lux+19 raw +1 wind to use it as raw and element? let me explain:
Instead of doing +20 lux raw and another +20 lux with wind, I was thinking doing only the wind one and use it as a raw too.
I know I'll lose dps. For example, Betatria Giga is strong against wind, so if I use my lux+20 with wind my dmg will be equal a lux +19 raw or my dmg will be lowered?
I have the following LS: Laevateinn = fire Durendal = earth Zen Blade = ice Luxbringer = raw/ ?wind?

I've finished the LS elems weapons, did all of them to +15 and the raw +20. For future research I did the following LS. IMHO they are very good. My only complain is to laevateinn. Farming steel greaver horn and ice giant pariental was not easy, the others LS was easy to upgrade.

Thx for showing these tests. I did a durendal with wind elem. Even with +10 upgrade i feel the dmg better than my luxbriger.

I guess photo will explain this much better first 3 hits is with raw +20 luxbringer second 3 hits is with fire enchanced luxbringer(+1 fire +19 raw) last 2 hits are with raw +20 luxbringer + demon's aura.

EDIT:i have bow set up,longsword is my sub class. Just to add it's gatekeeper 1 not 2.
EDIT2:This is GK2 first 2 hits raw second 2 hits fire element
last 5 hits raw + demon's aura (it isn't much diff between GK1 & GK2)

Heh, alright - guess your Longsword set up's a bit different than mine, I'm sure I only hit 2600 when I use Demon's Aura on that Rex - I do only have one Str gear equipped anyway.
Anyway, guess that's pretty conclusive, RockLeo, you'll have to make a strong Neutral weapon.
Holy crap, 1000 less damage on Pyredaemos Rex with an elemental weapon..?! And that's on a bow as well..?! I knew I was guesstimating some numbers but I didn't think it'd be that accurate.
Guess the damage difference will be even greater when it comes to being a Longsword or an Axe.
You didn't read right,pyredaemos rex is with longsword (Luxbringer) Bow would be 1600raw to 1100 elemental
