Actually development cycles for handhelds are much shorter than their console counterparts (and really big console games usually take about 2.5-3 years with an effective team it can take as little as 1.5 to 2 years), the problem with the vita is securing exclusive games which it is doing so miserably. With no announcements of any big games on the horizon outside Persona 4 the vita has a very bleak outlook, at least when the 3DS came out we already had kingdom hearts, resident evil, every nintendo ip ever (including big ones like Kid Icarus and Mario Kart), monster hunter all revealed and announce to come out on a later date despite the incredibly lackluster release. That has yet to happen on the vita.

I still love the old PSP, but I messed up the analog stick.

Oh well, I mostly listen to music and watch movies on mine (problem is, I've only got one movie )

I think in the future once it's full potential is realized, it will be a great product. It's still pretty good right now, but it needs more AAA games. Good system though, and FIFA 13 should be a good game for it.

It looks awesome in the presentation, the only problem is that I'm worried that if one of the controls break, it might mess up the whole entire PS Vita. And I would also like to see FIFA 13 on there.

I was extremely hyped for this product and constantly put this over a 3DS to the point of even downplaying a 3DS. Then months went by and 3DS kept getting all the AAA titles and Vita got...more purchasable accessories =/

Now it's just the opposite. I'll get one when it truly deserves to be bought and it'll need to have a pretty beefy library of games rather than just a handful.
