Okay guys, time to put out there what you want in there for Beenox's inevitable follow up to this game.

1. Infinite street crime

This is one of the main reasons WoS remains one of my favorite games. No matter what, there is ALWAYS something going on in the city. In that game, it was like fifty types of something, all at once. You had giant mechs, tech thugs, symbiote hives, symbiote attacks, aerial enemies, car chases, gang fights, I mean the list goes on and on. Keep the city alive and active so whenever I turn it on, Im only a few swings away from instant action

2. Flesh out combat.

I love what is there, but theres some stuff I miss. Gimme a few other elements like disarms, my websling kick/punch, the ability to just grab a thug outright and swing away with him, a stun move like web to the eyes, just stuff like that so that I dont just have to wade right into "youre gettin pwnd" mode. Gimme the option to toy with the poor bastard a little bit before I leave him hanging from the streetlight with the atomic wedgie. Oh yeah, and I want the lightpole hang back. Classic.

3. Improve locomotion just a bit.

No walljump? No force crawl from a rooftop to the side of the building? These are pretty big omissions here. A sprint option would be nice too, as it could easily work into combat as well with sprinting attacks.

4. Better villains.

The villains in this game were pretty bland. They served their purpose for the story, but the whole "mindless raving beast" theme for all of them was overdone. Bring in some villains that there can be actual dialogue and banter with, and that can contribute more to the story than "stop this thing before it kills someone".

The last Spider-man game I played was Spider-man 2 from the movie.
Gotta say that was awesome.

The main thing I hope in the sequal (and it's only little) is that your web, when swinging actually attaches to a building, I don't like that I can attach a web to nothing, this was perfected 10-15 years ago, also in an activision game, what were they thinking removing that? Also being able to hold your web while it's stuck to a wall so we can just hang.

Some controllable aerobatics would be nice, being able to crawl off a roof down the wall (as someone said).
I don't know if it's in a mission but I was looking forward to swinging around the Statue of Liberty here, I can't.

Thanks! Hope it's just as good as this one. Well I'm sure it will be anyway.

More villains from an all around spectrum, in contrast to those that were included in this game with the "cross species" story.

I feel that the future games might be a little gimped, though, being as how characters like Rhino and Scorpion are just rage fueled cross species characters in this universe and cannot provide Spidey with anything other than combat.

I want to see more villains that not only challenge Spidey physically, but provide commentary and conversation with the hero, as well. I can't express enough how this game makes me wish that it was the entire Spider-Man universe in an Arkham City style game. This game was almost there, but lacked in the characters department among other little things.

wait, there's a SEQUEL to THIS game? or am i misunderstanding something?
There's going to be.

Much like Sony pictures and the movie rights, Beenox has to keep making games or Activision will lose the rights to the character. For a while it looked like they were content to churn out mediocre to crap titles to turn a buck, but with this one they've made a pretty good game and laid a solid foundation for future games.

A couple of the villains actually might be able to speak in the next one. If I remember right a couple of the bios mentioned intelligence beyond the power.

The Scorpion one says it seems like he might end up talking one day and the Rhino has the whole intelligent eyes thing.

Definitely feel you on your villains part. One of the most interesting foes (well, if you can call her that) was the Black Cat. As one of the only ones with the ability to speak she was infinitely more interesting than someone like Vermin.
