Shadow of Death
Either one can work, but you'll want to hire a pawn that can do the stuff you or your main pawn won't do.
Also, try not to hire pawns that are higher than your level (and certainly not by much, if you must). Cuts into your EXP gains.
Personally, I've never tried being thrown, or throwing a pawn. I'm sure it works pretty well against flying enemies, but a ranged attack is probably preferable anyway. Though being thrown on a large enemy can help bring it down if it's being evasive, but even in those cases shooting it with a ranged attack it is weak to is preferable (fire works on most enemies).

I going to play as an assassin/ranger most of the time (with an eventual mystic knight and warrior for augments) and i was wondering which vocation i should choose for my main pawn. I'm thorn between warrior (build to tank/damage, no charge skills, the ability to toss me - hey, i know i can shoot arrows...but its fun -, utilitarian/scatter inclinations) or a mage (heal and buff my weapons with the enhancement of my choosing, some offensive skills). Considering the A.I., which one do you think will work better? And which one is easier to find for hire: a nice warrior or a mage that suit your needs? thanks and sorry for the lousy grammar, not my first language.
