ok, so if i use the video tag, no go. i keep getting "no video with supported format and mime type not found" (in FF).

yet, if i use the embed tag, fine.

but that's not an option, i don't wanna bring up quicktime and it's clunky interface.

i'm going for a nice, clean interface (like http://www.w3schools.com/html5/tryit...tryhtml5_video).

so, what gives?

yes, i have the "source" correct. it's right in the root folder.

the object tag has even more messed up results.

can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Haven't had any problems with them so far, as long as you're not doing anything illegal you can do whatever you want on there as far as I know.

Most of the free hosts don't allow video, I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay for some hosting if you're planning on having lots of videos, I use Arvixe for my site.
how's your experience with them?
how are they about video?

It's in 000WebHosts terms of service that you aren't allowed to have streaming media, so maybe they've blocked it.
dammit!

i didn't see that!

here goes starting over.....
