No arms or legs, no problem, Pacman is supposed to be a muncher, not punching and kicking.
He only does one thing. Mario is supposed to jump off people's heads, but if that was the only thing he did in Smash Bros., no one would want to play as him.

That game pales in comparison to the 8 bit Atari game.
8 bit Atari Pacman is totally better than that piece of garbage Pacman we see to day.
Another thing, why not put the original 8 bit Pacman instead?
Mr Game and Watch was put in no problem.

I totally agree, Bluelore, my gut tells me it would most likely be Pac-Man since it seems like someone Sakurai would consider putting in.
Although Tekken caharacters would be great, Heihachi probrobly couldn't be in Super Smash Bros because of his appearence in PSASBR so if Pac-Man isn't put in and they decide to use a Tekken character, they should use Kazuya since he was main character in the first Tekken making him a bit more iconic that Jin.

yeah it will be most likely either pac-man or a tekken character. Out of the tekken characters heihachi,jin and kazuya have all good chances. Yoshimitsu may also be possible,due to the fact that he could represent tekken and soul calibur at the same time.
So who would be considered the best character choice from this game?

Probably Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. He's actually been on a Nintendo console and he's pretty popular.
Although if Namco gets a character, I doubt a Tales of character would be in. It would be like Nintendo putting in Fox before Mario.

The Tales series is a group of Japanese RPGs that all have titles starting in "Tales of ______". The mainline games have been around since the SNES, and are known for their active battle systems where you take full control over your character while directing the rest of your party. Its probably best known in Nintendo circles for the Gamecube title Tales of Symphonia, which was a timed exclusive on the console and is touted as one of the best in the series. The DS saw two Tales of games in Japan, but neither were localized. The Wii had a direct sequel to Symphonia and a whole new title, Tales of Graces, which was eventually localized in Tales of Graces F on PS3. There has also been a port of a late PS2 Tales game, Tales of the Abyss, on 3DS which is quite good.

I've seen alot of "Tales" related subjects when it involves characters to put in and what I'm wondering is what is Tales and what character does everyone want from it?
I've tryed googling it and I don't know what everyone is talking about.

Honestly if they're going to be adding any Tales characters (which isn't likely since NB is a 3rd Party and Pacman is pretty much 99.9% in at this point) then I would hope they added Lloyd Irving seeing as he was the main role in the most popular Tales of game particularly for a Nintendo system. One could make an argument for Luke seeing as he was more recent but honestly Lloyd would be a much better choice due to the fact Tales of Symphonia was such a standout game for the GameCube. Not to mention he garnered a lot of support for Brawl but I suppose we'll see.
