Well in my opinion, you should use LWC instead of Lockette, it has more features and what type of server is yours? Like fun,RPG or other stuff? If you want those fun stuffs, I recommend: AutoCraft, BoatMania, Cannons, BomberCraft, DeathCube, War & ChessCraft. The person who coded ChessCraft is a beast. For building, like ims2golfer said, use WorldEdit, it's great Probably World Guard if you want to protect your region though, and MultiWorld to have two worlds. PVPing: BattleNight and MobArena! Oh and try the plugin Heroes, you can watch all these reviews on Youtube etc... Sorry if I listed too many plugins!

This is in the right place, theres not really much else for where it should go, or another thread I would recommend World Edit. The simply most useful thing out there, but I would rate it below anything that The Voxel Crew comes up with EDIT: Could you PM me the Ip and stuff?

Hi there! I've been playing my own Tekkit (Modded) Server for awhile with my friends, and through Bukkit, I realize how easy it is to install Plugins. Plugins are awesome. Their like mini-mods for your server properties.
The question is: What separates a good plugin, from a bad plugin? And out of those, which do you recommend getting, and which do you recommend skipping?
I use a couple, but not many. Lockette is very good for Signs, Chests, and Furnaces if you don't want people breaking into other people's things in your server. You just place a sign on a Chest or Furnace, and it's locked. For doors, you have to put the sign above or in front of the door, and type [Private]. Then nobody can get into your house. (Through the door anyways)
I also recommend Essentials, because it lets you Set your Home, request to teleport to people, have them teleport to you, and has some sort of protection I don't know how to use.
So then, would anybody like to recommend anything to others? A plugin that happens to be particularly amazing? Post it! Request's are also welcome.
