Surprised nobody has made this! I'm looking at what people are currently driving, what do you love about the car? Do you wish you had a better one or do more stuff do it? Tell us about it!

I currently own a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX and I love it. Boxer engine is something that has interested me in a long time and I love how the car sounds once you get a decent exhaust on it. I'm currently giving it some time and doing some research into getting my hands on a 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi. I would love to go back to the new car field and knowing what has been done to it.

Shot when I got HID's installed on headlights and fog lights:

Sadly my car got flooded at some point and I had to take it apart

I am currently driving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited (fully loaded). It's kind of a dark metallic blue with a charcoal leather interior. I only have about 7,000 miles on it. I am doing much better with putting miles versus when I had my 2007 Saturn Aura XR (fully loaded), which I had about 12,000 before I sold it in 2011 and I had that car for 4 years.

My first car, managed to buy it for £600. 2001 1.2 Fiat Punto with 44,000 miles. Just need to replace the shocks and replace the back tires, which is easy enough considering both my cousin and my father are mechanics/have been mechanics, so shouldn't be too hard a job.

I have a 2002 Subaru Forester S Premium (that was just repaired after someone pulled a swoop and stop on me in a fit of road rage) that replaced a 2000 Saab 9-3 SE convertible that a teenage girl smashed to pieces with an SUV which replaced a 2005 Honda Civic EX Special Edition coupe that was smashed to pieces by a guy in an SUV who had just gotten out of jail for repeated DUIs (he was not drunk at the time) which replaced a 1995 Ford Probe SE that rusted out because it was a Ford.

I also have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that my fiancee mostly drives, and a 2006 Yamaha YZF600R, though it isn't a car.

I have never driven an older Commodore so I can't comment on them, but half the P platers in older Commodores, especially with Chevy badges, are complete halfwits. They ruin it for all the decent people. Hope you weren't like that.
oh god no. unfortunately, i never got past my L plates because i left australia before then, but even then, behind the wheel, im no cocky bastard. anyone with half a brain will see that there is nothing special about driving a car.

...thats why im a cocky bastard behind the yoke!

in all seriousness, though, id consider myself to be a pretty good driver. the worst (and only) incident i had was driving near the airport to my favourite krispy kreme store (there is a hill nearby that overlooks a runway, and the aircraft just fly right over you). however, to get there, you need to go under a bridge, where the top part is for aircraft to go over. of course, me being the airplane freak that i am, i get distracted in an 'ooh! something shiny!' fashion, completely forget about the road, and got a little too close to the wall. still, nothing happened, so its all good.

i heard that the newer commodores are shit, and prone to many mechanical problems. guess i was either lucky, or they made good quality stuff in the 90's, iirc, it was a 96 model

As for VE's The inside looks a bit tacky. Especially the handbrake. Looks tacky and out of place when on(up). The red dashboard lights look ugly, Fords blue scheme is much easier on the eyes.
If you have one with a spoiler, all you can see in the rear mirror is the stupid spoiler taking up half the view right in the middle of the rear window. In the Ford the spoiler is lower and doesn't restrict rear vision as much.
The Ford felt faster on acceleration, but I had an extra passenger in the Holden so I don't know if that was the problem. (She is a small women so probably doesn't weigh much)
Ford's 6 speed auto was better than the Holden's
The 4L I6 is proven to be almost indestructible.

Holden's positives.
Looks better in the right colour. Seats more comfortable.

That's my car review for the day.

That 300c is a very sexy machine. Heard it's good to drive, also! Those wheels are very nice too!
