Sounds like a problem tied specifically to your computer. You could always try lowering your video settings.
This. My old laptop had a similar problem. Lowered my video settings and it didn't happen again. But now I have a pretty good laptop that doesn't do this.

Also, it might have to do with some sort of corruption in the game's files. Try downloading it again.

Sometimes when i'm in the middle of a game, my screen turns a bright color and there's a static-y sound, any ideas of how this is happening? How to fix it? Some one please respond with some info. I will reward you with the happiness of this guy.
