I haven't been here for a long time, but i think i know who'll answer my posts anyway(or i think i know -_-), but i am up to akantor and yes i haven't played for a while and i managed to kill that Gravios (refer to thread HELP-Black Gravios under my name and creation for what happened). Anyways i want to kill it, and if successful and quite lucky in my first try(if you are my usual Hunters that help me you'll know what i ask for but i'll say it anyway), i want to know what are recommended armour sets, weapons(already know its quite weak to dragon element if i remember correctly), if able what i should bring(in my inventory), and i'll be more grateful if i am giving tactics to it.

If you're talking about which ammo to bring I'd bring all types of pierce shots and mats to make more of them.
Since your weapon rapid fires pierce S 2 use the pin tuna to make Pierce S 2 (pin tuna + husk berry) instead of Pierce S 3 (pin tuna + sm bone husk). The rest of the huskberries can be used to make Pierce S 1 shots (with velociprey fang iirc). for the rest I'd also bring a full stack of normal S 2 and normal S 3 just in case you should run out.
Since your weapon can't use thunder shots you're not left with much options tbh. Make sure your amor has pierce S up (more pierce damage) and maybe an evasive skill like evade +1 or evade dist inc.

Wasn't trying to help with that comment, just wanted to show the contradiction of you not wanting to use sluggish weapons and then going for one of the most sluggish ones.
Anyway a proper armor would be anything that gives you guard +1/+2 and maybe guard inc. I think the hermitaur S armor gives you guard +1 and you can gem in guard +2. In the days of MHF2 I gemmed the rath armor with guard +2 and had attack up and ESP (since I didn't know where to properly attack him and didn't want to be bouncing off all the time). But since they changed it so you need +20 instead of +15 to get guard +2 that doesn't work anymore.

You have to know when to attack the tail. Like when he just did his tail smash or his triple pounce. (if you're talking about narga that is) you can only cut the tail when he's raged.
