quote DarnitAre you going to try and pace yourself reading through them with the series? That's hard to do >> I aimed for it with book 1 but then my love of fantasy took over and I just blitzed through the whole lot. They're actually quite a good accompaniment to the series as you get quite a bit more background as to the lore of the realm. For example, book 1 has a lot more information about the gods and those trees with the faces on them, which is really interesting. And speaking of the books mine arrived today and *bleep*ing hell they're good. If I'm this hooked on the first book where I already know the story God knows what I'll be like when I catch up to where the TV series is.
quote The Living AngelusHow do you even stumble upon so many spoliers? I just tend to avoid reading comments on any article, video etc related to GoT which is where a lot of spoliers seem to be at. The only thing I ever had spoiled for me was that Dany's dragons are stolen in Season 2. Which was pretty annoying because at the point where I was at she didn't even have her dragons.quote LavitzSpoiler:
Who the *bleep* is Coldhands and how do you know about him if you haven't read the books?Spoiler:
The same way I knew about Ned Stark's beheading after the very first episode of Season 1. The same way I've known about what Episode 9 will deal with since before the start of Season 3, which even then, I've known of the event since Season 1 as well. Specific events like The House of the Undying. Battle of the Blackwater. The Red Wedding. And pretty much everyone who dies up through book 5. All spoiled for me.

quote Mouldy CheeseAgreed. There's been some weird casting choices this season which have already been mentioned in here, but in a way I'm happy with it. I don't have a problem with them going off-course from the source material, as long as the show stays as good as it isDaario looks nothing like I thought he would.

quote The Living Angelusquote DarknetSpoiler:Spoilers I guess?
I dunno what person you are talking about. I know why those crows were there but that is a bit of a spoiler to say. We're talking, like, 2-3 seasons from now.Spoiler:Definitely a Spoiler
I assumed their appearance was because they were sent by Coldhands to warn them of the White Walker approaching, which I assume we'll see an appearance by the end of this season, or at the very least, early in Season 4. Or am I wrong on this assumption on why all those ravens were there?
Doesn't he mark his appearance in "A Storm of Swords" which is what Season's 3 and 4 are dealing with? You believe he wont appear for another 2-3 seasons or are we talking about two separate things at this time? lol

quote The Living AngelusSpoiler: Also, Darknet, about all those ravens...
Do you think with the appearance of all those crows at the end of the episode, it was to signify the appearance of someone particular in the next two episodes. I wont say who, but I'm certain you know who I'm referring to.
quote DarknetSay what now?We never got to see the scene of one of her hand maidens eating out her pussy.
It happened in Book 2. Thought HBO would jump on the opportunity to make a lesbian scene with Dany. Disappointed they didn't.

Okay, if there was any a time for you to talk about book spoilers, it's this. lol. Exactly why does Dany have a lesbian scene? I mean, she did in Season 1 technically, but she was being instructed on how to please Khal Drogo.quote DarknetBummer...No seriously, that is how that went down.
I'm still surprised HBO didn't have Dany wear that Qartheen Dress. I've seen designs of it.
quote LavitzI thought so too, but was told why he didn't.Also, *bleep* Sam for not picking that dagger back up. Moron.
