Random question, and I'm sorry if this has already been asked.
We know that killing the dragon in the final battle destroys Gran Soren and opens the everfall and puts the game in hard mode (Ok Spoiler, sorry) BUT If you kill your cherished lover person and not the dragon, what happens? Does the game still go into hard mdoe with the horrible black sky (which is so annoying and means you have to constantly use a lantern) or does the city remain intact and the difficulty the same , if so, then what happens to the everfall? Does it become like the one in hard mode with all the rooms and endgame content, or does it remain like the everfall in normal mode, i.e pretty boring and useless?
OT I only ever went into the everfall pre-hard mode once for the pawn guild quest and then the monster came and we had to flee, what else is down there? Does that monster come back or are there bosses down there and chambers like in hard mode, or nothing like i thought.
Any feedback would be great

It's not that big of a deal. Some people try to get certain lovers so that they move to Cassardis in post-game.

What happens if you choose peace at the final judgment, does the game go on?
Yes. You need to do that for a trophy anyway.

I got the old guy from the beginning. The dude with the white beard. I was pissed off. My character is a girl, so that was like sick. Afterwards i killed him in my house, will he stay dead? I wanted to throw his body in the water, but i cant grab him lol anyways i hope he stays dead :/
Also was that on default?? I never talked to him, only in the beginning of the game, this is so wrong.
