I am now third prestige (Blue circle thing, lol) and I have to say I am really enjoying this prestige so far. I have discovered guns I have rarely used before, for example i Love the mp5 and i have never used it before, i also have taken a liking to the Cm901 (think thts it anyway) i like to master new weapons every prestige, and enjoying it so far, also love completing challenges all over again, find it quite addictive.

Yeah Dizzywallin,

It was my highest kill SMG, i used it with kick and optics right up until i had unlocked 2 attachments, then i'd use Extended mags and rapid fire.

I tended to only use it at really close shotgun type ranges, it could even compete with the akimbo FMG at point blank. Kinda. Its close range hipfire damage seemed unmatched to me.

Only a handful of players really know its potential. The MP5 is definitely the under-dog of the SMGs. Silencer with Kick (or Focus) is the best set-up for it, IMO. I would say Rapid Fire and Silencer, but after trying that out a few rounds I noticed the recoil is way too jumpy. The low damage and high ROF made it difficult to pull off mid-range shots.

Don't expect to win every fire-fight with this gun though. Assault Rifles will get you from mid to long-range, MP7's and PP90's will get you at short-range. You have to have superior aim and a natural tendency to aim for the head to really compete with the other SMGs. Steady-Aim Pro and Quickdraw are nessecary to win the CQB gun-fights (I define gun-fights as encounters in which both players shoot at the same time). Flanking and Bum-rushing with Extreme Conditioning compliment the use of the MP5.

All-in-all, great little gun. Very under-rated, very fun to use.

I just prestiged again tonight, and started fresh with the Mp5. I spent a prestige token on Steady-Aim, and made a rushing class. Here it is:

Mp5 w/ Silencer
USP 45. w/ Silencer
C4 (I bought C4 with a prestige token on my 4th prestige)
Flashbangs
Extreme Conditioning
Hardline (Bought hardline with a prestige token on my 3rd prestige)
Steady-Aim
Specialist Strike Package- Quickdraw, Sleight of Hand, Scavenger (Bought scavenger 5th prestige)

I only play TDM, and I got my very first M.O.A.B. a couple hours ago while playing on village.
Very proud of myself, I don't normally rush. I just spent my 6th prestige getting maximum profiency on the PKP Pecheneg and the L118A. So, with some pent-up stress and a hunger for sprinting, I went absolutely nuts. Finished the game 32-0, a flawless M.O.A.B. only using the Mp5.

Prestiging is something I love to do. This game gets boring quickly, but prestiging and having to build yourself back up is alot of fun. I usually pick 2 or 3 weapons to max-out.
Exactly and sorry for the long quote i'm still relativley new to this. Without the prestiging it qwould obviously have no replay value, though when i was second prestige I was bored and finding the gamre repetitive, then I prestiged and its changed. The game is what u make of it. It's good to change around and experiment, i got a M.O.A.B on infection (doesnt take much skill i know) but died a second before it released
