This new face off game mode is going to be a massive mistake, 1v1 is just going to be boosters, and 2v2 will be splitscreen boosters, stupid infinity ward messing up and already shocking game.

Uh, how is it ruined? If Boosters have their own game format when it's only them two playing, why do you care? Booster's are only bad when they're ruining your experience (such as calling in Killstreaks on you, MOAB'ing you, ect ect).
Yeah, if my eyes didn't deceive me and the new game mode is free and is coming/has arrived in the latest patch, i'm phoning David, time to see the real CoD master....if IW is still the scumbags they are now, Then they can go f*** themselves. I'm not coming back.

Last time I checked, if you go into a 1v1 with a booster, he can't exctly boost .. But I see where you're coming from. It does make boosting easier for kids but oh well, let them. I enjoy the 2v2 Playlist though, it's a fun thing to play with a friend and absolutely destroy the Bad kids who play in it.
This just means that boosters have their own game now.
What this guy said. C'mon guys, I seem to be hearing a lot of complaining about how people are going to use this gamemode as a way to boost. Not just on Neoseeker, but across other message boards and such as well. But who really cares? Would some of you rather they boost in TDM, KC, Domination? Or would you rather these losers have their own gamemode for themselves? Because with the latter it really DOESN'T effect anyone at all. If two boosters are playing 1 v1, how does that effect any of you non-boosters? It doesn't. And if two people are boosting with two splitscreeners, how does that it effect any of you non-boosters. It doesn't.
Spot on. I shall play the mode myself as I will have the 4 new face-off Maps but It wont effect me 1v1 or 2v2 as the maps are small no place to really hide away.

Boosters shouldn't be able to even begin boosting in a FFA anyway, black ops had it sorted with no tac inserts in FFA but as usual, infinity ward don't think too much, that's probably why this game is like MW2 a complete mess :/

Except they've released a gametype and two maps free of charge. For the first time ever, they've actually done something that's more for the benefit for the community. Whether it be a fun gametype, or a great place for boosters to boost whilst making the OP cry.
Regardless of whether or not the gametype is good or if it's being abused, I think it's an exciting prospect that Infinity Ward have released something substantial for free.

The only problem I have, and I think most reasonable players do also, is the fact that they interfere with OUR (Aye, separate race) people doing their thing in matches.
I have no problem with someone being ranked higher than me.
I'm glad they have a place to go, I can imagine quitters being my biggest problem with this mode tbh.
