Yes, hats. As mayor in this game, you get a lovely hat (well, the guy is wearing a hat while doing his job anyways...), and Tortimer always has a lovely hat, and that's what brought this up. Do you guys have any great ideas for hat designs, or are you going to rock the wind-blown hair style?
I know Phi used to sport the amazing Link look, complete with the Hero's Cap (I think that's what it was called...). It was by far the coolest AC look I've ever seen, but I'm sure you guys all have great ideas for stuff like this!
I'm not the best when it comes to designs, so I'll probably just wear that beautiful mayor hat. If I can get my guy to have a good hairstyle like my City Folk character had, I'd be more than willing to just run around and let the breeze roll through my hair. However, that mayor hat...it's tempting...
So, I know it's a bit early to think about this, but do you have any lovely hat designs or ideas for your character with what we've seen so far or from past Animal Crossing looks? I kind of think a swimming cap would be cool, but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it. Unless Kubrick's over, in which case I'd probably run around with it to embarrass him. :3

I actually didn't see anything wrong with bedhair; it was one of the best hairstyles tbh. x3 I would keep it if it didn't start the whole "you should go get your hair done" thing with the neighbours. I just wanted to talk and then they would bring up my hair ;-;
But despite the bad/decent hairstyles during the game, I'm going to stick away from hats, unless something sticks out, or something goes with my outfit.
Well then, let's hope that bedhead doesn't return or you could end up looking pretty funky.

If I recall correctly, City Folk had both a Mario Hat and a Luigi Hat already. I definitely remember sporting a Mario hat from time to time. That, or I'm going insane!
Other than nintendo-related attire I think I'll stay away from hats. I like rockin' sweet hair.

I love my Link outfit. <3 It was so worth buying complete crap at Nooks for. I do hope some special Nintendo stuff will make an appearance again. :3
As for hats, I usually go for something like a bow or ribbon so let's hope there's plenty of them.
Another cool thing would be something like what Mario wears after he gets a Cloud Flower in Super Mario Galaxy. The only way they could make it amazing though would be if they went all-out and added the clouds that follow behind it as well as the huge main cloud. I always thought that that was Mario's coolest look in those games, and it'd be great so see him sport it in another great Nintendo series.

This is definitely something I'd like to see in the new Animal Crossing. They have most of the standard hat styles covered, so I'd love to see some hats/hair styles from other Nintendo characters along with their effects.(Wearing Mario's green metal cap will makes your character move just a tiny bit slower, etc.) Also, they need to make Majora's Mask an item that's a bit easier to buy. I bought City Folk very late and could never manage even close to the amount of points.
