Are you guys making Phantoms on the release or are you guys going to wait? I'm probably going to make one on the release day atleast, I don't know about training it considering I play a private server. And what skills are you going to give your Phantom? (Note that they are Explorer only.)

My 1st job skills are Haste, Iron Body, Magic Guard, and Dark Sight (at the moment). 2nd job skills are Hyper Body, Heal, Channel Karma, Bless (at the moment)

Haste is really good, not sure if nexon fixed the bug for it that caused you to also get the passive bonuses, but it's basically the only first job skill worth stealing, besides maybe like Iron Body.
I've been using Haste and Channel Karma. Best combo so far at second job. Third job I'll be mixing Combo Attack in.
Edit: Also, Heal as an attack helps a lot if you can find a Jesters/Scarecrows map
Of course they don't stack. Just found Channel Karma. I am using haste, but I am not noticing much of a difference if I do not have it on..
I usually skip Jesters/Scarecrows altogether. Not in the mood for busy maps, and I can train quickly elsewhere. My lv50 Phantom us currently at lv67 Toy Trojans.

I've been using Haste (don't ask, it's long overdue for a change) and Bless for awhile. Debating whether or not if I should get an offensive skill or Holy Symbol at 3rd job.
Clawz is right about supportive abilities, first/second job is basically nothing but them. Though third/fourth job you mix in actual attacks if you aim for high DPS.
That makes sense. Who would want to steal 1st and 2nd job attacks anyways? I stole Thunderbolt, and soon found out that my own attacks are stronger than it was.
Need to locate someone today with Rage. Was using Haste and Hyper Body yesterday while training, both of which were pretty useless on Phantom, as is Heal (since you don't take a lot of hits/damage)..
Hoping to use Rage + Bless as my skill combo until lv70, unless there is a better attack+ combo..
I got my phantom to level 50 and got bored as *bleep* with it. Sit and spam 1 skill and that's it. About the same as the old hermit style play, except with mob.
And higher damage, especially if you stack Crit on potentials/rings/anything you can find to proc your skillset. Though tbh, that is what most classes are. Merc and DS played out different, Luminous basically plays exactly like Phantom in terms of training, nothing else has really spread different early on.

That is what I am finding too. I'll be stealing supporting skills, and then use my own attacks. My Phantom just hit lv50 as well. Super-fast leveling if you learn how to speed around the map, destroying everything in your path..
