Sorry, force of habit. I usually think to check first but not this time. At any rate its better than not having any tv at all, and carts make me kinda nostalgic.

Zombie_Barioth I am a girl. Anyway's no this TV dosent support componet. I couldent get a computer monitor for my "computer" either as the computer is a laptop lol. My birthday is one week before christmas so I have quite a bit of money at that time of the year only to buy new consoles which are collected over the years. The Wii was a graduation gift. The TV was given to me, and I damn grateful for it.
that "piece of shit" youre refering to is better than my 800 dollar HD TV my HD TV doesnt suport the video output of my PS3 witch *bleep*ing is HD
What is the make of your Tv? That seems wrong.
yes obviously something is wrong its a philips(don't know the exact type) but my xbox is working fine, i also tried switching HDMI slots, and keeping the on/off button pressed to switch between HD and normal
If hes fine with what hes got right now wouldnt it be better to put the money for the monitor towards the tv, rather than get a $300 monitor and $600 tv get a $900 tv? And just because someone had the money for all three consoles doesnt mean they still do, thought component would still be a nice affordable upgrade if your tv supports it.

It's 2012...how are you still playing without an HD tv....? There not that expensive anymore.
If that was towards me then its because I dont have the money for such a thing. The ones im intrested in arent cheap and if im going to go with HD then I want a damn good TV. I got nothing to complain about my current TV, still works so need to replace it til it dies.
You have plenty to complain about with your current tv. If you're waiting to get the best HDTV you can, you're only hurting yourself. Any low end HDTV is better than that piece of shit you're working with now. Pony up a few hundred for a computer monitor with HDMI input and built in speakers. They should be $300 max for a good one around 24-27inch. Then when you save enough money to get a nice Samsung/Sony hdtv, you can use the Monitor for your computer.
Seriously, it's 2012. You're playing a system that is meant to be played in High Definition. Stop being cheap. You own all 3 consoles...clearly you're not wanting for money.

Nothing amazing but it works. The only part of my collection you cant see (besides the digital games of course) are the n64 and snes games on the right of the entertainment center. Its not an hd tv but it can go up to 1080i through component, and no I dont use the rocker in the corner.
