I don't know if this is happening for others, but I'm running Nightly build 15.0a1 on Windows 7 64-Bit.

Nightly is just the 64-bit build of Firefox, so anyone using Firefox should be able to reproduce this.

oh, right, and stripping posts of annoying markup like bright or small font. honestly, i think it would be easier to just have a version of namfox that only has those features, and nothing else. saves everyone the hassle of updating the extension every time the forums are updated.

That's why anyone uses NAMFOX. Because I like my preset mark-up. Neoseeker has actually integrated about 90% of NAMFOX's features except for the auto-markup feature and saved presets. Which is really not that big of a deal.

huh...out of boredom, i came to this forum, and found this. guess ill install this when i get home.

in the meantime, the quick quote and edit functions are kinda redundant, now that the site has it already integrated. why not just do away with them on namfox altogether, so that you dont see two quick quote and edit buttons?

really, the only reason i use namfox is for the auto complete markup feature.

I have no troubles with the (ren) version as of yet. Only mystery was the reverting to 1.7.2, until I just read Ren's post.
Scrap that, quick edit doesn't work, Quick quote does for some reason.

Yeah quick quoting and quick edit doesn't work at all on my browser with Ren's version. It's whatever. I'm thinking that neo probably wants us to use namfox less and less anyways.

New version is a bit bunk in the quick-quoting department. Doesn't seem to work at all... :/ And I don't think quick edit does, either.

Testing with quick quote.

Quick edit seems to work fine as well.

Just a heads up - Firefox is automatically "updating" NAMFox back to the original buggy 1.7.2.

If you click the More in Tools> Addons> Extensions, you can disable updates.

If it doesn't have (Ren) in the name - then it's already been reverted and you'll need to reinstall from the link above.
Would it not have been easier to update the version number? Or would firefox still revert it?
Firefox would still revert it since Ren's fix wasn't uploaded to Mozilla by the project manager.
