Does anyone else think that things are just getting absolutely ridiculous and that the series is taking a downward spiral?
The original CoD was amazing and I bet most MW/BO players have never even played the game. It seems like elements are over used and new CoD games just become a "same shit, different pile". The first MW added in some great game play elements such as being in the plane and switching between different vision types, there was the bonus mission at the end as well, and the sniper mission.
I believe that MW and BO have spawned some of the worse gamers as well. So many kids are so lippy and generally a bunch of tards; it's flowing over into other games as well. Just look at how defensive people get over the game and when another similar game (eg: BF3) comes out people rage about it and it goes back and forth to create some sort of rivalry and competition as to which is better (who cares!)
Anyways, I just think BO2 has gone past the point of ridiculous. It's set in the future and there's horses? I'm sure that BO2 and the current state the CoD series is in appeals to teens though and things wont change.

I'm not particulaly bothered about grammar tbh.
I have more of a problem with some of the posters who resort to ill informed cliched comments when asked to justify one of their obscene comments.
I think it all comes down to the fact that too many on here simply don't know enough or put little thought into here but post anyway as its a very accessible forum. Sometimes I just want to bash my head against the wall with some of the lazy things people come out with.
It wasn't this bad a year or two ago however.

lets look at the history COD-pretty good but not recognized COD2-pretty good but not recognizd COD3-ok but not a record breaker also tanks/vehicles ruined it COD4-widely considered the "god" of COD with high sells WAW-not a huge seller but still good MW2-mother*bleep*ing pile of shit with shit sauce on it BO-ok but dropped the "run around to be succesful" approach and everybody bitched and moaned about it despite the developer backing MW3-piece of shit i didnt even buy it BO2-leave the mechs in mechwarrior i wont be purchasing it
