    Do you use your computers desktop? Or do you prefer to keep all your icons hidden and never bother use it for access?

    My desktop is never used. I hate having icons on it because I think it looks so cluttered. I find it much easier to keep what I need in the taskbar or hit the Windows key and search for something in the start menu. It makes finding things easier than searching though columns of icons.

The only thing on my desktop is the recycle bin. Other than that, the taskbar has everything.

I actually finally got around to organising my Desktop - I used to have a Shortcut to practically every folder I had on my computer, but now I have only the things I use on display;

My desktop is completely empty. All of the things I need to use are at the bottom left of my screen.

    I used to have just the necessities on my desktop, but I've recently changed to having a blank desktop and putting all my most-used things in the start menu. It's easier to move around this way.

My desktop, when that computer is actually being used, only has Photoshop, a few games and the recycle bin.

My desktop comprises of just five icons. I don't like to have much more than that because I too feel like it's cluttered if I do.

I have around 1/8th of my desktop filled most of the time, I like keeping files, google chrome, and some other things I access a lot... :3

I like to try and keep my desktop clear but occasionally it has pictures for the Professor Layton wiki on and a list of songs I need to download :3

Yeah I use it. I mostly have folders for things though. Like the desktop isn't for aesthetics purposes so might as well use it.

If I put all the folders that I intend on using in a different directory, I'd never find anything. Yeah i could search for it but i still prefer direct access so i know where to save it, attach it etc.

Overall, the Desktop is so much more organised for me for all my important stuff.
