Black and White gives us the chance to battle with a trainer based off the Game Freak employee Shigeki Morimoto. You can battle him once a day and earn quite a bit of cash.

Did you like this little extra and would you like to see something like this done again.

I liked it and was certainly better than just throwing in any old Ace Trainer. Every Pokemon game puts in a person form Game Freak but they serve no purpose than handing out the elusive certificate and aren't even named. But this was actually exciting. ^^

He's a part of my daily training in White. I was a bit down because I thought his team would be more challenging. The team was unbalanced and focused only on speed and attack. I was hoping for it to be competive, but it was just a bunch of shitty pookemon having nothing, but speed and a horrible moveset. In Gen V Fake Out received a +3 priority unlike in Gen IV where it was +1 and could've been easilly dodge by using another offensive priority move like aqua jet. Now the only way out of it is to use a protective move.

Yeah, there is no other way to get around Fake Out except for negating the flinching with Inner Focus or Shield Dust. It has a priority level of 3, making it able to outspeed Extremespeed, ironically enough. Thankfully, Fake Out only has a power level of 40 so it will not be doing much damage to anything.

Most Liepards that I have come across always tend to start the battle with Fake Out. It is an efficient move to annoy the opponent if they can't stop the flinching.

(Card games on motorcycles. Thanks, been a Yu-Gi-Oh fan since I could hold up my first King of Yamimakai)

:/ Well...the good thing about fake out is that it doesnt do a whole lot of damage so you can just come right back at your opponent and do a lot more damage

[you have an account on dueling network yet? :3 we can duel there. 3 of my other friends and of course me also like YGOTAS so that as well. my user on dn is dawn.purple4]

On topic, Inner Focus is a handy ability to get around Fake Out. Not only would Liepard waste a turn, but it would leave itself exposed to my Bisharp's X-Scissor.
agreed. though morimoto is a computer so you can only blame the makers of pokemon...and the leopard is probably set to use fake out since every time i battle morimoto. first move - always fake out.

[ Btw, i like your 'Kalin' profile picture. :3 Im glad someone else here also likes Yu-Gi-Oh]

yea what makes you think that one move would take rayquaza out? it'll come straight back with an even stronger move and destroy whatever hit it.

um yes my rayquaza is maxed. 405 speed.
Huh? Last I checked max was 317.

I just use my gengar or my gallade to prevent/benefit from fake out.

StardustDragon911 and Roxas Did both of you forget that dragons also beat Rayquaza? One max speed Rayquaza (since I doubt yours are at max, Stardust) could outrage/dragon pulse spam this whole team away.

Back to the topic! yaaaay!
I liked the idea of a 'real' trainer, but I wish the team had more variety. It also would be nice if his levels increased each time you battled him, eventually all the way to lv 100.
um yes my rayquaza is maxed. 405 speed. and um, if the dragons dont beat that speed then heck, i can just use a dragon move on them or even ice since this rayquaza knows ice beam.

>.> i hate morimoto's leapard. always goes first with its fake out attack
